Polar sir seems to have a very different quality. Tonight, despite the absence of cloud I saw few stars. As the polar air mass sat over us the stars were crystal clear and the milky way was a milky film behind them. It’s something I have only really noticed at night.
Today the day was beautifully clear with only the odd fluffy passing cloud, sunny and warm. What a late English summer always has to offer as much as the high priests at the BBC may wish you to think otherwise.
Sunday was a very different kind of air flow,
North Westerly, as the pictures hopefully show.
